The Spanish newspaper Marca asserts that Barcelona has received an astronomical offer from PSG for Lamine Yamal.
Could the new star of FC Barcelona, Lamine Yamal, be heading to PSG? According to Marca, FC Barcelona rejected a €200 million proposal from PSG for the young hopeful of the Catalan club, all to replace a certain Kylian Mbappé.
PSG would thus be willing to achieve the second most expensive transfer in the history of football to secure the services of the young Blaugrana talent. The proposed sum reportedly amounted to €200 million.
Yamal’s agent, Jorge Mendes, therefore presented this offer to Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta, during a meeting discussing transfer possibilities. However, FC Barcelona ultimately turned down this offer. PSG, however, will not engage in a bidding war, as the player’s release clause… stands at one billion euros.
