Paris Saint-Germain is looking to strengthen its squad for the upcoming season, and João Neves is now at the center of the discussions.
After several rounds of positive negotiations, the Parisian club is closing in on an agreement to secure the services of the young Portuguese midfielder from Benfica Lisbon.
Discussions between PSG and Benfica have reached a crucial new stage. PSG is determined to finalize this transfer by next week, showing a clear intention to see João Neves join their ranks for the 2024-2025 season.

Salary of €6 Million at PSG
The young Portuguese talent, who played 33 matches and scored 3 goals in Liga Sagres during the 2023-2024 season, is set to sign a 5 to 6-year contract with PSG. According to Portuguese media outlet A Bola, he will receive an annual salary of €5 million. This amount represents a significant increase from the €500,000 he earned with Benfica.
