OL (Olympique Lyonnais) is reportedly on the brink of parting ways with its coach, Laurent Blanc, following a calamitous start to the season.
The end appears imminent for Laurent Blanc, with OL expected to soon terminate his contract. Marcelo Gallardo was reportedly approached by the Lyon club but declined the offer, even though he is currently available as a free agent.
Thiago Motta, who is currently at Bologna, and Will Still from Reims are among the candidates being considered by Lyon’s management as potential replacements. Bruno Lage, who has been on their radar for weeks, will not be coming.
It is expected that Laurent Blanc will remain in charge until OL finds a suitable replacement, which could take some time.
