Not included in the squad for the match against Toulouse FC in the second round of Ligue 1, 30-year-old midfielder Marco Verratti could be on the verge of departing PSG.
According to information from France Bleu Paris, PSG is waiting for the player to resolve his contractual situation before deciding whether he should be reintegrated into the squad in case of departure.
« For Marco Verratti’s absence from the squad #TFCPSG, the player is in the process of leaving, and the staff prefers that the Italian manage his affairs (departure or not) before considering reintegrating him into the group’s rotation at the end of the transfer window, » confirms Bruno Salomon, a journalist from France Bleu.
The Italian has a significant offer from Saudi Arabia but is not motivated by the idea of leaving Europe.
