Paris Saint-Germain is in competition to recruit the young midfielder Alan Varela.
According to information from Foot Mercato, the Parisian club is considering signing the player from FC Porto for the next season. However, PSG is not the only contender for Varela’s signature.
Other top European clubs are also interested in the player, including Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund. However, the task will not be easy for these clubs, as FC Porto is demanding a considerable sum to release Varela. Indeed, the amount of his release clause is set at €70 million.
Additionally, Alan Varela’s youth club, Boca Juniors, will receive a percentage of any future sale of the player if he is transferred in the coming months. The competition to acquire the services of this talented young player promises to be intense.
