The pursuit of Bernardo Silva by PSG appears to have failed, as he seems poised for an extension with Manchester City. Is there a Plan B? Not at all, according to Le Parisien. If no promising leads emerge, the club won’t engage in a ‘Panic Buy’ during this transfer window.
Le Parisien reports, ‘Today, the coaching staff aims to transform Lee Kang-in into a playmaker.’ The South Korean might be deployed deeper on the field in a midfield role. The former Mallorca player is well-regarded by PSG’s coach Luis Enrique, who ‘values him greatly,’ as the regional newspaper reaffirms. Even though Lee Kang-In’s first two matches haven’t been impressive.
Another possibility for PSG is to reintegrate Marco Verratti. The Italian has received two offers from Saudi Arabia, one of which is from Neymar’s club. However, at the moment, nothing is moving on that front.
