Rayan Cherki has no interest in joining PSG: He is waiting for Borussia Dortmund and Lyon to reach an agreement.
According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Pettenberg, Rayan Cherki is solely waiting on Dortmund. PSG is no longer in his plans at all. « Borussia Dortmund remains very interested in signing Rayan Cherki; so far, there’s been no agreement. Neither from the player’s side nor between Borussia and Lyon, » confirms the journalist on X.
Nothing is finalized yet, as many details still need clarification before the next phase of negotiations can begin. But one thing is certain, Rayan Cherki feels no pressure at all to sign with PSG at this stage. He is waiting for the next steps with Borussia.
For PSG, the pursuit was already complicated. While Luis Campos and Luis Enrique were in favor, PSG President Nasser al-Khelaïfi was not keen, simply because Cherki is represented by Kylian Mbappé’s mother, Fayza Lamari.
