Will Bernardo Silva finally join PSG this summer? The suspense should not last much longer.
Things are moving at PSG. A few hours after the defeat in the Champions League semi-final, the transfer market is launched. According to Sport, The Mirror, and Talk Sport, the Bernardo Silva deal is a priority in Paris. Paris Saint-Germain seriously considers rekindling its efforts.
The club’s management plans to continue its strategy started last summer. The prospect that Manchester City may have already found an ideal replacement for Silva, in the person of Paqueta, would encourage PSG. According to talkSPORT, the Parisian club remains determined to strengthen its squad with quality players, and Bernardo Silva remains an attractive target for them.
However, the player’s decision is not yet known. It should come quickly. The Portuguese wants to resolve his situation before the Euros. Bernardo Silva had extended his contract last summer with Manchester City until 2026, with a release clause set at €58 million for clubs outside the Premier League.
Barcelona is also in the mix, but the financial situation of the Spanish club does not help. Meanwhile, PSG could easily afford this amount to secure the player.
