Julian Alvarez, the 24-year-old Argentine forward currently under contract with Manchester City until 2028, has spoken about his dissatisfaction with the English club. The PSG could potentially capitalize on his discontent.
The PSG and Julian Alvarez were frequently discussed at the start of the transfer window, but interest seemed to fade. However, Alvarez has made it clear that he is unhappy with his role at Manchester City. In an interview with DSports Radio, Alvarez confirmed the rumors about his frustration with being sidelined for key matches and starting on the bench.
“Last season, I was one of the players at Manchester City who played the most minutes. But it’s true that, in the end, it’s frustrating to be left out of important matches and start on the bench when you want to contribute. I haven’t yet taken the time to clearly think about what I want for my future. Once the Olympic Games are over, I’ll take the time to reflect on what I want for myself. We’ll see what happens next,” he said, as reported by Foot Mercato.
