Are PSG players being pampered too much? Luis Enrique has implemented a new approach.
Luis Enrique aims to motivate his players. In the new PSG Campus, the staff and players are settling in, and Enrique has introduced fun training sessions, including ball exercises and diversified activities.
« The sessions are expected to be more intense in the coming days. The return of the international players on Monday, including Kylian Mbappé, will bring additional quality, » explains RMC Sport. « Between training sessions, players can take a nap on-site in the numerous available rooms, as was the case on Thursday, » the media outlet adds.
Overall, « the initial feedback from the group is positive, » notes RMC Sport. However, the Spanish coach strikes a balance between firmness and closeness, encouraging players « to go after the ball after missed shots. » This approach aims to make them more accountable and also adds a bit of pressure.
