Although the sections reserved for the judo and handball teams are still under construction, the area designated for the professionals is ready and located on a hill. The metaphor is intentional by the club « to show young players that it is possible to climb the ranks, both literally and symbolically, until reaching the first team, » explains L’Équipe.
Professional players will have a comfortable space that includes 43 rooms dedicated to team bonding and recovery, a team restaurant, a medical center, a school for children, and even a secure and fortified room in case of intrusion : a panic room. The total cost of the project is between 250 and 300 million euros.
