Ousmane Dembélé, the FC Barcelona forward under contract until 2024, might not be joining PSG right away.
He was in Paris, but he had to leave. Barcelona called Ousmane Dembélé for training this Sunday, thus blocking his transfer to PSG.
The Parisian club intends to activate his €50 million release clause (with half of it going to the player).
According to Le Parisien, FC Barcelona is delaying the transfer and has the means to do so. Journalist Fernando Polo (Mundo Deportivo) specified that legally, the Catalan club could wait until August 21 to finalize the operation. Therefore, Dembélé might not be at PSG by the start of Ligue 1 on August 12.
