« My priority is first to create connections on the field among the players and find connections between them. At the beginning, it’s about informing my players about the basics, the important things, the non-negotiable things, and how we need to behave on the field, » he said.
« Then, progress comes from training sessions, matches, observing these connections between players, and adapting to what’s happening on the field, both in attack and defense, based on the opponent, but above all, based on our game idea. There’s no training session that doesn’t aim to improve these game situations and train them. »
