Mbappé: Smiling for the Cameras, but Angry at PSG in Private?

He stops, signs autographs. Kylian Mbappé seems unfazed by the pressure surrounding his contractual situation with PSG. Even being sidelined and threatened not to play the season. Everything seems fine… or does it?

According to L’Equipe, while Mbappé displays a smiling face and appears fully engaged during training sessions, he is reportedly quite « frustrated » in private and doesn’t intend to give any concessions to PSG.

However, L’Equipe states that PSG has not given up on Mbappé. The club recently offered him a new contract with a clause allowing a departure in 2024 at a fixed fee. Yet, Kylian Mbappé simply refused. PSG is convinced that he already has an agreement with Real Madrid for the summer of 2024 to sign as a free agent. Hence, not paying a single Euro to PSG. Meanwhile, PSG is also awaiting concrete offers from Chelsea and FC Barcelona for the player.
