Milan Skriniar Assures Full Focus on PSG: No Plans to Leave, and No One Has Asked Him to Leave… For Now.
The future of Milan Skriniar at Paris Saint-Germain is uncertain. Having joined the club last summer from Inter Milan, the Slovak central defender had a challenging first season, marked by injuries and a difficult adaptation to PSG’s playing system.
However, the defender is determined to make a comeback. In an interview with L’Equipe, the player insists that he has not yet discussed his future with the club, but he wants to stay.
« Not yet. Neither with me nor with my agent. If there was an issue or if they were unhappy, I think they would have talked to me, » he states.
« Of course I want to stay in Paris, I still have four years on my contract. I am very happy, my family too. If I hadn’t been injured, people would be talking differently about my season, » says Skriniar, who lost his starting spot after an ankle injury in early January against Toulouse (2-0) during the Trophée des Champions.
